Cambridge soundworks tower III

First post. Long time lurker and first time I've decided to cave and get an account here.

So I just picked up a pair of Cambridge tower III's.
A guy was just trying to get rid of them, so I scored then for free (win!!!). I've been able to find a lil on cnet about them, but I'm looking to find max wattage and I need a new connection plate for one speaker. It looks like the connection pins got bumped and the plastic was broken.

If anyone has any info on these, it's greatly appreciated.

These are probably just going to be my "beater/secondary listening" speakers.

Can;t beat the price!

Measure your terminal cup and see if one from parts express would fit. I have the Tower II's and the bi-amp cup is within a millimeter of the dimensions of the parts express bi-amp cup . It doesn't look like the III's have the same bi-amp cup but you might be able to find something that works.

Cambridge Soundworks was always very cryptic on specs. Your guess is as good as mine but I imagine they could handle 75-100 watts/channel.
 
great loud speakers!! Easily throw 100 watts continuous at them .... I've had two pairs, and I recently went to Klipsch Forte's for my blasters...

They say they can handle 150W but I dunno... I've only got a 110W receiver running them right now.
But I'll deff check and see if the parts express post will fit.

my opinion is average listening level is 20-40 watts. Loud unable to talk to someone is 60-80 watts.... you're fine
