Can anyone ID these receivers by the faces?

I was wondering if any of the guru's on this site can identify any of the items in the pic. I would hate to battle my way through an estate sale crowd for a stack of POS gear. Thanks in advance!

Trying to ID the one under the CD changer and speaker brand.

Not sure about the silver faced units, possibly an off brand as they don't quite match anything I know about. Others may do better. The lower unit is a Heathkit (I think) and might be worth something if tubes.

I think you are right about the Heathkit, looks like an AA21D unit. And I thought the same thing from the silver faced units. They look like generic / lower end units without common markings or layouts. Thanks!

The Yamaha looking rectangular rotary switch knobs on the receiver look Akai like to me. Kind of get the word Akai from the blur of a logo and it looks in the right location.

And you're ignoring that Marantz 8 track recorder?

Either way, Yamaha or Akai both would he decent. I would snag the Marantz 8 track if cheap just because I've never seen one in the flesh.

The 8 track recorder is not a Marantz, it is a cheaper line SuperScope product. Related to but not quite. Agree about the receiver being an Akai of some model.

It is a akai, but not the top of the line AA 1200. Probably the next model down. I checked my 1200 it's got a few more knobs on it then the one in the picture. But still worth owning. plan on camping out the night before if you want to bring it home. Or you could just tell the competition that you have came down with the measles

I have an AA-1135 at the cottage, it doesn't have the extra FM controls and IIRC the speaker selectors are different. Nice sounding unit though and works great with no crackles and have never received any maintenance or attention. So AA-1150, a worthwhile piece for the right price.

There are still some deals on Superscope. The construction and parts used are very similar to Marantz in a few receivers I've seen. I could just never get over the pinkish lighting.

Similar but not Marantz. An economy sibling, cheaper new. Good for the price point.
