Can I do this???

Can I put a "Y" splitter into the PRE OUT left and right of my Kenwood Eleven III, with one left and right to another amp, and one line back to each left and right PRE IN of the Eleven III? Will the Eleven III still power speakers, and send a signal to another amp? Most importantly, will this overload the pre amp of the Eleven III? I want to run Eight speakers total, and control it all with the Eleven III, and hide all the rest. The speakers will be four Kenwood KL-888d's, Two BOSE 901 V's, and two kenwood JL-670's. Thanks for any help!

I've done it many times, exactly the way you describe!

(maybe I've been lucky, but I never had a single problem with that hook-up)
