Can I use any other inputs on my Kenwood Basic C1 Preamp for line in?

Hanleyster

ambitious but rubbish
My Kenwood Basic C1 preamp only has one designated CD/Aux input.

Other then that it has tape, tape, tuner, phono, phono.

Can I use one of the tapes, or even tuner if I wanted to use one for ipod and one for a cd player?

Thank you

Yes, you can use anything other than the phono inputs. They are all "line level" and are just labeled for convenience sake

If you have no phono you can jump out that stage and have two more. I worked on a Sui 717 someone had done that to, and had to undo it.

Bypassing ONE phono input is alot more complicated.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Please explain? Thanks

If you do not use a turntable the phono preamp can be jumped out to give you another line in.
