So, I'm new to this forum and pretty dense at all things audiophile related. However, I have a Kenwood KR-8010 that is going to want some decent speakers once I get around to fixing it (no sound out of one channel and the lights are flaky).
I like the concept and size of the Magnepan MMG speakers and was wondering if they would be suitable for this old KR-8010. I'm of the understanding that my Kenwood is a decently powerful unit (125 watts/channel at 8 ohm, if I remember correctly), but I'd hate to destroy a perfectly good set of speakers because of my lack of understanding.
Thanks!
Ron
