This is the set and I also have the original remote control for the sh-r808. I tried to find this set on the internet but I couldn't find it anywhere, so if someone knows what is the estimate price for this set, please let me know.

Thanks

You can easily find for sale and sold prices for the individual
pieces at hifishark.com and ebay. Set prices would be much
harder to nail down.

Depends on if you're selling or buying, the conditions the items
are in, and what market you're in. Prices could vary a lot.

With those variables in mind, do some research.

Neat stuff but vintage audio pricing is all over the place, ebay "sold" items would be the best way to guage pricing. I don't think this style of Technics Components was very common, I've never run into it, so finding the right buyer at the high end of pricing might be difficult. The EQ might be a good guage, it averages a little over $200, add the tuner and amp/preamp for another $200 and at $400 you might find a buyer.

Good luck!

eBay sold prices are a good resource. Look for that search option under Advanced Search in eBay.

Interesting I just googled Technics ST-K808 and was able to find multiple pictures, links etc to the set minus the SH-8020 which I think wasn't part of the original set

For example first image I got was this

1980-83 according to https://hifi-wiki.com/index.php/Technics_SE-A_808 with a list price around $1400 USD for the set. I wonder if it had a matching tape deck?

The remote is neat, I know I've seen one or two other Kangaroo Style Remotes from back then but can't remember the models. Technics had some really neat equipment back then but we (USA) mostly started seeing the systems with the monster pressboard speakers that you could lift with one hand.
