Canada Day and 4th of July

So...this coming weekend (and into next week) we mark our respective countries' BIG annual celebratory observances. I wish to extend well wishes to all my "American Cousins" (and I literally have American cousins...shout out to Detroit Rock City!) and all my fellow CaNuckleheads...I served our country, and had the pleasure of serving with/alongside Americans during The Cold War (in Germany). However you choose to observe/celebrate and acknowledge...have fun...be safe...and...Keep On Rockin' In The Free World!

I moved to Ottawa in 1994.

During my career in Human Services I had the experience of working (I MEAN CONSULTING ) in several states (Georgia, California, Michigan, Illinois, Maryland)...worked (I MEAN CONSULTED) with many Americans during those 3 day "quality audits"...always had a great time...good peeps, great food and wine, great conversations...lots of laughs too...

well you guys are lucky. here someone woke the sleeping giant and we are no longer allowed the big fire works displays.
last 2 yrs they blamed covid. this yr its just plain political.
