Can't find any info--Azden cartridge.

Has anyone ever heard of an Azden YM-308Q cartridge? There is an 'untested' one on EB, that I might be able to pick up at 'bargain-basement' prices. I'm thinking the "Q" might mean "Quad"; which would indicate a Shibata-type stylus....but I'm not sure if the installed stylus is the original. Is it working risking a few bucks on?

It has a “special elliptical stylus”, probably better than elliptical but not a shibata. Was around $200 back in the day.
 
Thanks for the heads up...since LPG doesn't carry a replacement stylus for it, I'll probably let this one 'pass me by'....
 
They were mainly OME manufactures for other companies. I have heard their H/O MC cart, nothing to write home about.

I've learned that the cart. you are referring to, I believe is the GM-1E (?) (2.0 mv on a MC cart. would be considered "HO") was sporting a .3 x .7 eliptical stylus....LYS, 'no great shakes'....thank you for your reply!
