Hello,

Any body has reviews about Canton Karat 300 ?

I am having Canton GLE 60 and very much happy with its performance.
Since Canton Karat 300 has bigger woofer 10" compare to GLE 8" I want to add Canton Karat 300 as front speakers and GLE 60 i will connect as rare.

Would appreciate if one can add comments on Canton Karat 300

I have a pair. Excellent imaging and nice crisp clean high end. Incredible build quality. What's surprising to me is the lack of bass response, given the 10" woofer. Personally, I think the woofer is too large for the cabinet, which "chokes" the bass response a bit. I'm using mine with a Velodyne HGS-10 sub, which more than compensates for the anemic low end.

P.S.>> These are 30-year old speakers and the crossovers may be in need of a recap, which might explain the weak bass...:dunno:
 
Thank you for informing, main purpose to add big speakers on front for more solid base. Any idea for other canton speakers ? what about Karat 200 ?
