Does anyone know the capacitor values for the the infinity rs2000? They are not listed in the schematic. There are two, one you can see on a visual examination - 5 uf and a smaller (ceramic?) feeding the poly cell tweeter which I cannot identify. I am end to end restoring a matched set and the the capacitors are all that are left to replace. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you post a picture of the smaller cap? It looks like you tried to post one but I am getting a broken link.

The main cap is the 5uF. The 2nd smaller cap, is most likely a low value film bypass cap. Infinity used that method on many of their designs. If you recap with a quality 5uF film cap, you most likely wouldn't need to add back the bypass. It wouldn't hurt to keep it either way. If you do, In other Tech Manuals, Infinity seems to have used a bypass cap with 10% of the value of the main cap. So, a 5uF and a 0.5uF.

Well I completed the Full Bare Metal Rebuild of the Infinity RS 2000's. With the new voice coils the drivers sing like they did when new. My next project will be a set of Infinity Kappa 5 / 5A.
