Cardas Din phono plug connector

I have purchused a Cardas male Din Plug that I need to connect to an AR tonearm in order to use my phono din (female) to RCA/ground inerconect cables. Does anybody have a diagram of the conections of the din plug and would anyone know weather the tiny wires get crimped or soldered on the cardas din male plug. Any info would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you

I am in the process of rewiring my Grado tonearm. I soldered my connections following the same patern as the old wiring.

The tonearm wires were soldered to a strap, that I am replacinfg with a din male plug in order to use a phono din to rca interconnect. I have no idea which din plug post coresponds to which tone arm lead. I also need to know wheather I should solder or crimp the tiny wires to the cardas din male plug posts.

Sorry I can't help on that. I replaced all the leads with O2 free silver wire with the same corrisponding color to the cart. I soldered the posts to the wire, this gives you a much better connection.

Thank you Spartanmanor, I think I will figure it out by using a mulltimeter and checking continuity. Its going to have to wait till the weekend.
