Those early Technics headshells were unique and kinda neat. I like 'em. I still have one from my old SL-1800s. Most headshells are the two slot style. The cartridge mounts directly to the shell and not to the intermediate slider thingie. Overhang is adjusted by loosening both screws and sliding things around til you get it right, then tighten both screws only to have something slip and have to fiddle some more! That single screw setup sure was elegant! So is the Technics overhang gauge. I'd lose my patience setting the cartridge up on the TT with a protractor!
