Cartridge Help!

The table will accept any standard cartridge. A medium to high compliance cartridge will work. In the $100 or less range, you've got:
- Shure M97eX
- Audio Technica AT110E
- Grado Green
- Ortofon 2M Red
- Sumiko Pearl
There may be a few others. Your Infinity speakers are very articulate in the high end, which would preclude a cartridge with a "bright" presentation. From the list above, that would potentially favor the Grado, Shure and Sumiko. Grados have been known to hum with certain turntables. I'd check the Grado hum thread in this forum to see if your turntable, or another similar Pioneer table, are "on the list."
