Hello everyone, I have a Shure M70ej cartridge in need of a new needle as well as a Stanton 500mkii. Need help in which one to replace the stylus on. I haven't listened to any of them before as both stylus' are broken. They came off of a few used turntables I bought. Which one would you replace. I have a Pioneer sx650 running B&W v201's paired with a Polk sub. Technics SL B2k turntable and Toshiba srf451 spin my records. I prefer a brighter sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I know the replacements are not very much but I'd like to go with one for now before I replace both. Thanks all!!!

Thank you. I can get a JICO N70ej replacement or a generic Stanton but I'm not Shure of the make (see what I did there? ). The supplier recommended the Stanton stylus.

If it were me, I would order the JICO N70EJ. That is a nice cartridge and it will sing with the JICO. I have a M70 with a genuine N70B stylus (conical) and that is also very nice.
 
So the guy just messaged back and said he could get me the at95e cartridge and stylus for 52 Canadian. Think it's a better choice? I'm killing you guys I know, sorry.
 
The thread started with two cartridges, now we're up to four. None of them should break the bank, so buy one and let us know what you think.:beerchug:
 
Not sure you guys care much, but I took your advice on the Shure JICO replacement. I'm very in love so far with this. Grabbed a few beers, threw a bunch of records on and closed my eyes and really listened. Very happy. Thanks for the help. Now to order the Stanton replacement and then look at possibly grabbing an ortofon 2m red.
