Cartridge holder

I just made this travel case for my upcoming move, used a small fishing tackle box. I laid down some black foam board and traced out the headshells then drilled through the plastic so I could wire tie them down. I wanted something that would hold them solid in place. the foam board gives it a little cushion so it wont mark up the headshells

What a cool idea!!! Thanks for sharing. Well, gotta run, the local thrift store opens in a little over a half hour.
 
I checked three thrift shops this weekend. Not one single cheese board, nor anything similar. Chinese don't generally eat that much cheese, and have little or no cultural history with cheese boards, so finding a used one here would be difficult. I know they show up occasionally as trading company samples, but I think I'll have better luck picking up samples from a Housewares or Gifts Exhibition! Sooner or later, I'll try this... :yes: :D
 
Oh yeah this a new one, made in China :) Cover is not glass but acrylic which is probably better, safe and less heavy. The handle is nice indeed! By the way the wood is harder to drill than I thought lol
