Cartridge Hum

Moving TT less than a yard can impact this.

Currently am using a Thorens TD-125 MKII with a Promethean Super Green (highly modified cheap Grado) and moved it from left to right side of equipment stand to do an amp comparison. Next thing I knew there was a hum that I did not recall being there before. When amp comparo was done I moved TT back to the left and the hum is gone.

Does this mean my rig is a liberal?

Not only that but you will only be able to play "Peter, Paul & Mary or Joan Baez albums on it. Too bad >:pity:
