Cartridge recommendations for CDC 8002

Picked up this fairly obscure CEC (Chuo Denki) (CDC) turntable but needs a new stylus. The table is direct drive with a straight tonearm. Was thinking it might be worth just getting a new cartridge for it. Looking for something budget - cheap and cheerful - as it's really just a 2nd table. Would an Ortofon OM5 fit the bill?

The arm looks to be of the low-mass type, so you should go for a cartridge with a high-compliance stylus. The OM5E should be fine, but push to the OM10 if you can (you can always get the OM5E and upgrade the stylus at a later date).

Thank you. I'm a little vague about the whole mass/compliance equation so that's helpful.

It really is just a back up table that I'll be using when I'm fussing about with my Lenco. Though my young son is very excited about it because I told him it's a DJ turntable! Came with a cheap stylus that I clumsily broke while cleaning the thick layer of grime from the turntable. Will see how I go with the OM10 if I can stretch the budget a little.
