Carver 2000 Nudies

From everything I've found, the 1985 Carver 2000 Receiver, at 200 wpc, was the most powerful of the Receivers that originated during the 1980's. It had all of Carver's trademark tech: Magnetic Field Power Amp, Asymetrical Charged Coupled FM Detector (to eliminate multipath distortion) and Sonic Holography.

I've still got a bit of cosmetic restoration to do on the one I recently got (including finding a Balance knob), but here are some nudies, since these are rare.

I was always a fan of Carver. When everybody was either throwaway or nosebleed pricing, Carver was always there in stark contrast with great gear at attainable prices. Kind of like Mcintosh in that way....:scratch2:

I have to agree, Carver brought very advanced audio concepts to the masses. :thmbsp:
