Those are oringal Carver Amazings. Thats a steal but you're gonna need a big amp.

Go for it Sam! One thing to remember with the originals though is they dip down to 1 ohm at some frequencies so you need not only high power but high current as well. :yes:

I'm not a Carver-phile but I did send the link on to someone who is.

I just sold a set of Carver Amazings like these. I did not find them particularly accurate but they did soak up a lot of power and convert that into room swelling db's. Anything less than 120 wpc gets lost in these. 350 wpc and up will open them up nicely.

How much did they go for? I am looking at a pair but getting put off by the need to replace 8 woofers at $50 each,
