Carver HR-722 Dead/No Power

Howdy gang!
I just received delivery on my Carver HR-722 I won off the bay for $69.00.
Trouble is , that it is completely dead. Ive pinpointed the trouble somewhere on
Board 'BU-814' Ive checked the obvious things like the power switch itself which seems to be fine
Ive got 5.6 volts on pin 5 of BU-814. 14 volts DC on the relay. 12 volts DC on the rectifier diode chip.
I'm scratching my head on this one. In the service manual I downloaded from The Carver Site states that there is a switch to switch it from 120 Vac to 240 Vac and all I see on the mentioned board is jumper wires.
has anyone else had this receiver with this problem? Im currently using an older yamaha home theater receiver
that goes into protect mode when I put substantial gain through my DCM Timeframe 600's.. I would really like to use this Carver and pitch the Yammy.
Any and all feedback or help in any way would be greatly appreciated..

Im still scratching my head on this HR-722.. I even pulled the relay and checked the coil and it is good, checked the contacts and they were great. I re-installed the power relay and plugged in the
unit and depressed the actuator on the relay (Manually closing the power contacts) and it's still dead. Any Carver guru's out there in web world work on Carver stuff?

Did you ever get it to work? I know it is a little late to the game, but I'm 90% sure that your Carver is missing the jumpers in the back that connect the pre out to the main. I took mine out a long time ago because I hooked up a subwoofer to it and lost the jumpers years ago. I gave my 722 to a friend and he couldn't get it to work for that very reason
