Cat kills BRAVO V1 headphone amplifier

Shadow the Cat is 14 years-old, and still a superb jumper!
The BRAVO V1 amp was on a small shelf in my wife's office/den.
It appears to have happened a few days ago, although I just found out this afternoon?
My wife was afraid Miss Shadow would lose one of her remaining.....nine lives....if she told me?
I had just modded that little amp, and it did NOT have the top plastic piece, because the new Panasonic 10,000uf 50v replacement capacitor wouldn't fit with it on.

Figures.....:tears:...............................................

Can't be easily repaired? Bummer. But, it's only money (maybe a lot, though?). And, it sounds like el gato might be a cherished friend?

good luck on repair/replacement.

Nah, I wouldn't harm a hair on her head.
She loves me, and the feeling is mutual.
However, she tends to get into more mischief, than a 4 year-old on a sugar-high?

Other than busting headphone amplifier, she has:

Peed IN the toaster (I wondered why the toast tasted different?)
Peed in my son's laundry basket (mutual HATE between the two).
Would steal and hide small shiny objects (watches, rings, etc.)
Always goes "Postal' at the Vet!
HATES most 4 legged creatures and some humans too.
M-O-O-D-Y as hell (my wife thinks me and the cat are 'soul' mates?).

We have 4 cats, 3 female, 1 male. One is a phantom pee-er. Especially in laundry baskets. If there's an abundance of dirty laundry (in the cellar) we have to keep it covered so the pee cat doesn't strike!
Also peed in my firewood carrier and on woodstove gloves.

She was smart enough, to figure out....on her own....to pee in the toilet.
Unfortunately, she assumes that EVERYTHING with a hole, is a good place to pee?
Thus.....the toaster slots, the sink drain, the bathtub drain.....

You might try some stuff called Cat Attract from the big chain pet store. Sprinkle it in the litter box. Or check at the vet for a urinary infection. Or just scream and pull your hair out. Electronics are usually an easier fix than bad cats. THat peeing thing is more often from a cat that was raised outdoors or multiple cats conflicts.

yikes, lol! :yikes:

Anywhere you don't want kitty kitty to go, just lay down a sheet of aluminum foil, that will DRIVE them NUTZZ :nutz:
