Cayin TA30 Question - Mods

Does anyone have a Cayin TA30 tube amp? I bought one last year from a friend, gently used but have no documentation on it. I need to know which way i need to have the two switches facing for it to be in pentode mode, and NOT triode mode. Facing inwards or outwards? Anyone who may know or direct me to some documentation please let me know!

This one has the bizzy bee mods from Paul, but i believe these switches are stock. Thanks.

Try going on HiFiengine and see if they have your model listed in the library. You will have to sign up (free) to access the owners manual....

Most likely it will have higher gain in pentode mode. Without changing any volume settings, see which mode has a higher volume. My friend has a PrimaLuna that is like this. You can hear the volume fall when switched to triode.

I owned 2 TA30's at different times. They both had all the Bizzy Bee mods, but neither had a switch to run in Triode/Pentode. It required pulling two tubes and rebiasing. Sweet sounding little amps. Sounds like it was further modded or one of the last ones he did.
