Hi, looking to maybe pick up a used Cayin A-60t, 5881 based tube amp (30 watts per channel).

Anyone had this brand?

What are your thoughts and or experiences with this brand? Please share.

Picture is random internet, but the sellers looks just like it.

Thanks in advance!

Cayin, PrimaLuna and Willsenton are made in the same factory. Take a look at my Willsenton R300B thread (Pics). Having owned PrimaLuna and now Willsenton,
the sound and built quality are A1.

have not had that particular model but have owned other Cayin tube amps. Very well made and really trouble free.
Also believe @CohibaJoe is correct. Think Cayin is coming out of same factory as Primaluna.

I did own the A-60t for several years. I did enjoy it, it was well made and sounded good. I did find out the manual described the triode/ultralinear LED colour incorrectly, but it's apparent what mode you're in by the sound. The one fault it developed after about 8 years was the volume control was needing to be replaced. Of the output tubes I tried in it, my faves were the reissue Tung-Sol 5881's. (see avatar)

To be honest I wish I'd kept it.

I have various old stock and re-issue Tung-Sol 5881's. I can't tell any difference in sound between them. Great sounding tubes.
