CD changer recommendations

Any recommendations for what brand holds up very well or is easy to repair or restore? I'm looking for the 100+ CD changers and do not want to get a model known for problems, or is hard to service. I have a few 6 CD changers, but need one to hold much more, I need to know which used ones to avoid. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure I won't be the only one to make this recommendation but let me be the first:
If you want no problems, rip to a hard-drive and just use your laptop to control playback.

My iPod Classic holds that many CDs in lossless-file format. I can access my entire iTunes catalog of lossless files from my Squeezebox Touch in my living room, along with thousands of Internet Radio stations. A 5-disc changer works well enough in my living room.

I agree with above post.

I only use single disk cd players anymore I had so many problems with multi-play ones.

I've been using two Sony Mega changers. One I bought new. The other from GW. And a third on standby found at a GW as well. So far.. no complaints outside of a lens cleaning done once. I run mine through a DAC-01A. There is one problem with these.. they are huge.. so you need space (depth) to support them.

I also have used a IPOD and IPAD through my DAC-01A (mainly for streaming) and that sounds pretty good too. If you go the IPOD route.. I would suggest a tube buffer... just my opinion.

I do not recommend Mega changers of any kind, plastic mechanisms which warp easily and jam up. Carousels better and less issues. Or if you want a Mega changer, burn CD-R copies and use in it. They also tend to be prone to scratching discs.
