CD transport lubrication

Can anyone here make a recommendation on what type of lubricant should be used on the plastic gears and rails in a CD transport. I picked up an Onkyo DX-7500 CD player that needed a belt to open and close the drawer. I also noticed that the grease on the rail that the drawer rides on is dry and hard, causing the drawer to move slowly.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
