CD Transport upgrade

Greetings all,

I'm currently using the Audiolab 6000CDT that runs to my Moon 390, connected by a Kimber DV30 cable. I'm considering an upgrade, and used Jay's Audio CDT2-Mk3 and PS Audio Perfectwave are two candidates. I would like to continue to utilize the Moon 390 DAC for economical reasons, and I like to think it's a good one. I would likely upgrade the cable to XLR, which is not an option with the Audiolab.

Would this be a worthwhile upgrade? I probably listen to CDs more than vinyl and streaming, so improving CD playback would be great. Any opinions would be welcome and appreciated. Thank you!

There are also puck and suspension upgrades for the Jay's from Headquater Audio, not cheap but reviews suggest they make a difference.

On a mate's Jay's CT2 Mklll I compared the original puck and the QStab and the QStab puck does improve the tonality, sounds more natural and solid, surprised me.
I have a different transport that like the Jay's uses the CDM4 so one day I am hoping to get a QStab, maybe if one turns up second hand I may grab one..

Did you pull the trigger on anything?

I just bought the Audiolab 6000CDT as my first CD transport and am floored at what it does. I am sold on the concept of a transport/DAC and am sure I will be upgrading my DAC at some point.
