If I was local they'd be mine. Great speakers, $1200 in the early 90's, have a pair in my living room. FYI the metal tweeter dome is easily pushed out as it floats over the magnet.

Too much for those. The Dome is not pushed out as easily and you say. Aluminum cracks easily.

Did it on one of mine (kids!). The dome is not perfect but it is very good. I disagree re. the price, have seen some go for $600 on ebay a year or so ago. The are fine speakers and the listing accepts offers. Ever heard a pair?

The black color is so ugly, my mahogany ones are far prettier and classier than these.

Sometimes appearance does heavily matter!!

But, they sounds well with warm amp, sounds even better with a Sub!
