Anyone have experience with this driver? I'm going to refurbish some vintage cabinets with single 15" cut out and rectangle baffle port. Wanting to keep aesthetic, will only add cross bracing and port extension. I have run the numbers through multiple engines and the end results are very promising on paper. Adding port extension will flatten out the midbass pop of a PA driver and allow a smoother low end extension. Not worried about over working the woofer (Xmax 6mm), due to its high efficiency and power handling 50W in an average room will produce dangerous SPL's but given the rare occasion might do 30W max. I'm sticking with the Celestion recommended crossover but add Lpad to tame the horn. Any and all comments please.
