Celestion Impact 15 yea or nay?

Anything special about the Celestion Impact 15 for $50.00?

I don't really need anymore speakers but these are made in England and it got me thinking about the British sound that people talk about on AK.

BTW, both are missing the dust caps on the woofers so that is one strike against them. The rest seems to be in acceptable condition.

What do you think yea:yes: or nay ?

EDIT: This is what they look like without the dust cap. It does not look like there was one on it. There is no visible glue ring so I was wondering if they even had them in the first place.

Yes, they had the dust caps; the pic up top shows them.
$50? If they sounded okay, I myself would snag 'em.
They look related to the KEF Coda series from that time period; KEF and Celestion were sister companies at that time (mid-1990's).

Did you get em? I just picked up thier little brothers (the impact 10) with smaller woofers and cheaper tweeters, but you know what? They are surprisingly good with the right amp. Really good sounding actually. Would now love to hear the 15's. Got my 10's for $2.50 for the pair. It was half off day at the thrift.
