I need some help with a very nice center channel speaker I picked up. It has no logos, labels, or stock numbers on it. If this is a home brew unit, it is extremely well made.
Cedar-colored wood veneer, heavy-duty drivers with rubber surrounds, and high-quality binding posts in back. There are two 4-inch bass drivers (4 ½-inch flange) with rubber dust caps and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter (3 ¾-inch flange). Hex-head mounting screws.
No markings or stamps on the backs of the drivers; magnets are sealed. Connections are soldered.
The only clue I found is a 5-digit stock number embossed on the surround rim: YC91C; opposite it is the number 99.
Cabinet measures 20 w by 8 ½ d by 6 ¼ h. Weight: 17 pounds.
Wood laminate grill frame with tight-knit black cloth.
There is a metal leveling strip mounted on the bottom to prevent rocking.
Does anyone recognize this center-channel speaker?
