Centering voice coils (dual) with 30Hz

I am re-foaming 4 Watkins 12" woofers (RS1.5`s) and I have a dumb question. I am going to use a 30 Hz tone to "center the voice coils". I have never done this before. My question is, these speakers have dual voice coils so how do I hook them up?

Just did a pair. The coils are wowned together. I used the 4 ohm and just played music through them while I did it. Easy peasy....
 
I've done approximately 20 pairs and had the best luck shimming the voice coils. If you are very familiar with using a tone instead go for it.
The RS 1.5's are worth it, I really enjoy mine as a bedroom setup with a Sansui G801 :yes:
