some pics
Thanks again Brian. If nobody minds, i wanted to share a couple of the pics I took yesterday... (and if you do, let me know and I will remove em.

)
Great weather, you could not ask for a better day. Food was great, location was shady and company was friendly.
Brian had some great food out along with all the goodies the guests brought. Though i was particular to my taco dip i brought, but I am biased. I had an awesome sausage and some excellent corn.
Spent some time inside listening to Brian's very attractive system. All this gear was new to me, so I can not recite specs for you, sorry. ~~EDIT: removed my guess at the specs. Brian posted correct specs below.~~ Brian had the digital server running and was also spinning CDs and vinyl.
I have no problem being a "tourist" so here is a photo of me standing in front of the system for a size (and sexyness) comparison.
Close up of the amp. very cool looking stuff. Some day I hope to own a (much smaller) tube amp.

I spoke with Dale a bit about getting my hands on a kit to get me started. may be a few months / years away from being ready to jump into a tube system, but I definitely want to start soaking in tubey knowledge.
Thanks again Brian!
Now I need to sign up for the chicagoland audio society i kept hearing about.
