Cervin Vega HED W10

Hello, I was lucky to find a pair of Cervin Vega HED W10 today, couldn't find any specifications or pictures about them, I guess are very rare. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Any information about them : year of manufacturing, power and value would help .

I picked up a pair of these Cerwin Vega w10 speakers yesterday . I don't know anything about them, but I paid $30 for them.
Not sure if that was a good deal or not.
They look to be in good condition.
I can upload pics later tonight. If any one can lend some info on them that would be great thanks!
 
I believe the V is Vinyl and the W is wood (cabinet covering) with the same drivers/crossover. I have never been one to drink the CV! Kool-Aid though, so I won't be able to help you much on value or SQ.

I suspect that this line was manufactured for department-store retail.
 
I had a pair of w-10's mated to an Onkyo A-5- as my first "real" stereo back in '79. I got rid of both in the late 90's much to my regret, but they looked more like the one shown in the high energy design series catalogue found here : https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/cerwin-vega.shtml . I don't know that you got a pair of Cerwin Vega HED W10's as the woofers look different and the cabinets aren't like the ones I had but maybe they changed the design or someone frankensteined these with crossovers out of a different CV. Cerwin Vega doesn't get a lot of love here, but I liked mine I thought they sounded great and would like to find another pair one day. super efficient fun speakers.
 
I know this is a old post. I also acquired a pair of hed w-10 identical to what pics you posted. Only the second pair I've come across. I was hesitant to whether or not the woofers were correct but there's no way we would both have the save woofer.
