I have two Cerwin-Vega H-15 cabinets from 1978-79 time-frame. Today I pulled the woofers to list for sale, and noticed that both cones are initialed and dated (March 2001). I have owned these CV speakers/cabinets since approximately 2004, and self-installed new surrounds around 2015, but never noticed these initials. If the previous owner had the surrounds and/or cones replaced "professionally", is it common for the installer to date and initial the cones? I have always repaired my own drivers and cabinets, just curious!!!! Thanks!
