Cerwin Vega D2 Crossover removal

I'd like to replace the capacitors in the crossovers of my vintage D2 Cerwin Vega speakers (I purchased circa '87). In other models the crossover assembly can be removed from the outside by first removing the mounting screws. However, this model doesn't have mounting screws, see attached photo. I'm assuming they are glued in place but not sure how to safely remove them from the cabinet, or if any special tools are recommended to use, etc.. Tried wiggling a flat head screwdriver behind the plastic but there was no apparent give and I didn't want to risk damage. Just wondering if anyone has experience with how to remove the crossovers in the D2s to recap without damaging the cabinet? Thanks!
