While we have a lot of CV fans here, it would be a bit of a stretch to call any of the components you listed as "high end".
If defining "high-end" as being quite expensive,then most will agree the XLS-215 are'nt what most would consider such.
But the filp side of that deal is they're considered by many to be quite the bargain in terms of SQ per $ spent.
High end or not the XLS-215 by many accounts are an excellent sounding speaker.
Basically they're an updated version of the CLS-215 (added biwire capability/revised waveguides etc.).
FWIW the Absolute Sound (et-al) had a glowing review of those CLS-215.
My friend has a pair of CLS-215,and they can easily go head2head against many other speakers audiophiles covet.
Case in point: One of his other main pair of speakers are some Infinity Kappa 9's.
If I found a great deal on a pair of CLS-215 -or- XLS-215 I would'nt hesitate to jump on 'em.
As for the other two items,they should get the job done as well.
The CV power amp is a good sign as that means he did'nt make the VERY common mistake of under-powering his CV's
I say that as there's no way one should try to power those XLS-215 with a 100wpc SS receiver like that Yamaha.
People typically see the CV's high sensitivity spec and go right to "oh these should be easy to drive"...
But the specs are'nt telling the whole story,these things love GOBS of power to sound their best.
My friend was using a Sunfire 300/2 (300wpc > 8ohms) to drive his till he moved up to a pair of Bryston 7bst mono-blocks (500wpc > 8ohms).
And those things sound d@mn good with that power on tap,even at low(er) listening levels.
