cerwin vega over all best cerwin vega 15 pair speakers

hello every one how are you all doing today:D.well i have bin doing a lot of research on some cerwin vega 15 speakers to see which 1 were there best and most rare and collectible and i came across a whole lot of models so i decided to write down the models to see what all your guys opinions are. me my self have a nice pair of CV AT 15 that are in black cabinets that are in real good condition and i just got my self a pair of CV 380 SE that are in super great condition they look brand new. im looking at getting a pair of d9s since i hear thos are 1 of the best cerwin vega speakers cerwin vega ever made so i gotta check them bad boys out. well hears the list of model that i came across sorry if i miss some models that some of you might have i might have not of heard of that model yet. but if i did miss some i would love to know what model they are so i can check them out thanks. :thmbsp:

1 CV 380 SE. (I OWN A PAIR)
2 CV AT 15. (I OWN A PAIR)

5 CV PD9. (rare and hard to find)

7 CV VE 15 (THESE ARE THE NEW ONES CV IS SELLING RIGHT NOW)
8 CV CLS 15 (THESE ARE ALSO NEW SMALLER VERSION OF CLS215)
9 CV VS 150
10 CV MX 400 (HARD TO FIND) (MAYBE RARE)
11. CV M-100. (SUPER RARE)

thos 12 models are the ones i came across and found info on. im sure there some models out there i didnt put on the list so if you can help me out with some id appreciate it :). which one of these models are overall the best and if you cant pick 1 as over all best. which 3 will be the overall best. thank you all very much for you time i highly appreciate it have a nice day :thmbsp:

For hip hop and all around hands down id go for the CLS 15 as it has the biggest woofer magnet structure. My dream speaker pair! For rock id go with the AT-15 or 380SE. I listen to both. All the rare ones ive never heard.
 
haha nice thanks for the info. i got me a pair of AT 15 in great condition in black cabinets. im thinking about taking them into orange county speaker repair and have them do the wet look on the woofers and replace the red rubber with new gray ones.

well today i just stole a pair of cerwin vega 380 se for 200 bucks today. both in in great condition really they look brand new only problem is on 1 of the speaker 1 woofer has the dust cap pushed in a bit and so are the 2 6 inch tweeter but they still word perfect and look brand new the other 380 speaker is 100 % perfect no dents or tares or big huge scratches on it just little tiny light ones. so now i won me a pair of cerwin vega at 15 and 380 se.

i compared them today most people were right the AT 15 were a lot smoother sounding and the bass on the at 15 were a lil bit stronger. but when i playd some guns n roses on the 380s pheww it bleww my AT 15S AWAY honestly these speakers are a lot better at rock i cant wait to try them on my surround sound system haha.

im trying to get my hands on cerwin vega d9s i hear a lot of good things about thos speakers and i gotta have my self a pair. :)
 
the ones i like the best is the cerwin vega al1000

another rare pair of CV's is the DC-2000, iirc they are 15's, but they may well be 18's, they are like 6 ft tall and have an array of like 6 midranges and two tweeters per cabinet. I wish I could find a picture of them :)

I have AT-15's, D-9's and 380SE's, and they all are awesome. I used to have a pair of E-715's, but sold those to my brother. It seems the E-715 and E-315's are somewhat hard to come by in decent shape, despite them being fairly new.

What? I can't hear you... my hearing was permanently damaged in Iowa a while back by some mad man with some Kenwoods.....

Good Lord, Texas beware, he now has a collection of Cerwin Vegas!!! :D

Hehehehe! Dan, you kill me, :D I think you meant to say my Kenwoods "repaired" your hearing to prepare you for what was to come with the wrath of 250Ti's :D:D:D
 
hahaha wowwwwwwwww thanks for all the info guys big tuna im going for your collection buddy. all i need is a pair of the almighty d9s then i shood be good 2 go. hahaha i just connected all 4 speakers to both of my power amps. im running a cerwin vega A_2200 power amplifier to the 380 se. and running a mtx soundcraftsmen a-400 power amplifier connected to the at 15's. omg they sound amazing together honestly they really do i notice the at 15s bass are a lil bit deeper then the 380 im guess because the back of the at 15 cabinet has a hugeeee air hole. while the 380 has only 2 small holes in the back. i gotta take some pics. i can still put on 2 speakers so ima be looking for some d9s pretty soon haha :)

dc 270 thos pics of thos cerwin vega you poested up look sooo bad a$$. i bet the hize on thos speakers sound amazing. and thedelihaus's thos 12mk se are probably the rarest cerwin vegas speakers any 1 can have. i read up on thos. i read THORS story on how he got them found them in his friends addict. lucky'st cerwin vega speaker find ever. ahhaah thanks for the info have a great day peace :)
 
I currently have a pair of S2's and XLS-215's. I had a pair of the 2000-15's, but sold them last year.
