I have a Yahama CR-420 receiver, 25w per channel. Is this enough power to get these to sing?

It will work. But you really need more power to make CV's sing. :yes:

I have my VS-120s hooked to a Parasound HCA-1200.

It should be fine, though in my experience more power is better for them. I have a pair of vs120s in my garage.
