Cerwin Vega woofer ID.

Found a pair of cerwin drivers. The id number on back is 15w5 and it has a 1999 date on them. I am unsure if these are automotive subs or home audio woofers. A post here does mention them as suitable replacements for the 380se speaker. Just want to be sure.

Most 15" CV woofers went into ported enclosures which they are known for. You might could go sealed but performance would suffer.

Certain woofers are designed for sealed Cv are not one of them . Maybe add a sealed sub if you want deep bass . Keep them ported !
Maybe can call cv or check there site see the t/l parameters maybe build a duel sub box with them .
