Changing tubes on old Consonance PM-1 Phono Stage

Hey all,

I'm about to change the tubes in my Consonance PM-1 phono stage to some sovtek 12ax7LPS tubes.

I'm a first timer here and I remember someone telling me about tube bias. What is it, and should I worry about it?

To my knowledge, bias adjustment is required only for power tubes, where current draw is consequent, not for small signal tubes.

12AX7 tubes don't require bias adjustment, that procedure is reserved for power tubes which handle way way more power. Carefully remove the old one and you should be just fine.
