Chassis ground screw missing on 2235

Putting together my first system and I went to connect my turntable ground wire to my 2230, but I noticed the ground screw was missing. Is it as simple as putting a grounding screw from the hardware store in there or do I need an actual part for that?

I’m not electrically savvy so I want to make sure I don’t end up doing damage to the amp or create a hazard.

Yes..Just make sure the screw has a good electrical contact with the chassis.. Remove the paint from the inside around the hole or use a star washer that will bit through the paint.

Lol. I just bought the exact part from that seller, and it arrived today. It was the last piece of the puzzle on the 2245 I'm restoring, which was missing quite a few parts. Same story here. I didn't notice it was gone until I went to hook up a turntable to test it.

I think you can also use the antenna ground screw to hook up the turntable ground wire. Did anyone try?

I have hooked the ground wire to the FM antenna terminal successfully.

Just tried the antenna ground and that works well as a temporary solution. Thanks for the help everyone

Any screw on the metal chassis will work. It's nice to have an original type terminal but not imperative.
