Listing on Canuck Audio Mart for an AGS TRIO MEL-40 (EL84 in PP), in London, Ontario. This is 12 wpc. Now asking $175.00 CDN so.... $150 US?

Basically, a Kenwood KW-40, or Lafayette 226c.
I have one of the same units, although mines a little "prettier". My first tube unit. Sounds VERY nice to me. Short of a major "scroe", don't know how you'd get into (recapped!) tubes much cheaper. Might be worth checking out.
