Check out these nice racks

Nice Carl! I am considering these in the 5 shelf cherry finish or the Salamander A5 units. Are you still happy with these racks?
 
The VTI racks are a decent budget rack. You can fill the legs with sand or shot.

I got mine from racks & stands too. My sub sits on another single 7" shelf.

I mixed it up a bit and did Cherry with Silver and then Gold caps and spikes. I wish now that I went with Oak shelves as the Cherry shows all the dust.

That set up looks great. I did not know they had the AV rack. That might do the trick also.

It looks like you have an extra 9" shelf on the video rack. I have not been able to find a 9" add on shelf, just the 7". I am going to contact VTI directly. I think that might do it for me. It looks like your racks are on flat feet or are the spikes buried in the carpet? I DO NOT like the casters that come on some of the VTI racks.

Thats what I did, I custom ordered the sizes I wanted. They sent me an extra 7" when I complained I got a scratched shelf, but it has the wrong color caps.

Thanks! The model numbers will help a lot! Unfortunately It looks like Racks and Stands is defunct.
 
Cool, keep in mind that the Cherry is dark and shows dust easily, but also looks rich.

I did not install the spikes on the bottom shelf of my racks. They are just sitting on the carpet.

Google VTI stereo racks. Many places sell them now, including Amazon. Stands and Mounts carries all 4 shelf heights individually as add ons.

Same here, due to thick carpet.

I do plan to redo the living room at some point and redo the carpet and was considering placing 2 lengths of 2x10s between the carpet and rack in order to use the spikes and disks on the bottom.
