I recently purchased a couple of tweeters from a fellow enthusiast. He had a large collection of Stereophile magazines dating from about 1990 to around 2003. He asked me if I wanted them. I said, "heck ya!"

I ended up with 112 issues, about 30 of which are dinky little guys, about the size of a Reader's digest, like the one in the attached photo. All are in mint condition.

It's going to be a treat browsing through these.

Cool. My grandfather left behind a couple hundred of those from the early '70s to mid '90s. I can literally spend hours flippin' through those things.

Nice score. I love checking out those vintage mags. I've also been on a vintage magazine hunt myself as off late. I just acquired most of the 70's and 80's stereo review and audio magazines all in one great score. Also several hundred cataloged vintage test reports as well. I have a lifetime of great reading ahead of me it looks like.

I had a subscription to the old digest size Stereophile, and really enjoyed it back then. I seem to remember a year's subscription was $35. I think I ended up donating most of those to our local library.

Those 'dinky little guys' were the brainchild of J. Gordon Holt, Sterophile's managing editor who grew the magazine into the world's leading high-end audio publication.

Yeah, check out that old Stereophile...

I had a subscription at that time and remember having that issue:D
