I dropped a Pioneer TX-9800 off with Alex at the Analog Store in Garner last Friday for alignment, lights, service. He has a web site with that name. A guy that used to work at one of the big AV stores told me about him. I think he said he'd been in the business for 35 years. He was real nice, showed me his bench and the other tech's bench, and we talked a long time about old stereo stuff. He called today and it's ready, playing through his system in the store. $75.
I've had another piece tied up for a couple of months while the guy works through the line ahead of me, so I am real glad to find someone local, fast, and competent. You should check him out.
