Been reading threads on AudioKarma for a long time, seems any sort of topic I google-searched looking for technical info there was a link to AK.org so might as well join and share, right?

My dad always had a good ear and good equipment, nothing crazy but eventually he gifted me his Marantz 2325 receiver and IMF TLS 50 speakers. I found a local deal on a set of TLS 80's a couple years later... I'm in a townhouse and can barely let these things breath out of respect for the neighbours, but I wouldn't trade the sound for anything much these days.

Anyway, thought I should at least post an intro thread before I go and bump a 2yr-old thread that turned into a discussion about speaker stands... because I'm in the middle of making my own stands and need input! http://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/very-impressed-with-these-imfs.502480/

I don't remember a lot about grade school. But, everytime I hear of Ontario I remember the report that I had to do on it in the fourth grade. Like most of my school work it didn't turn out well, either.
