This is my 2005 New Orleans Jazz Fest poster that hangs over my fireplace. About 15 years ago when my daughters were still at home, one of them added some Christmas cheer to this. I have continued the tradition.
This year we put some Santa hats on a few family pics around the house. One year my daughter hung some cotton balls on fishing line in front of this picture but they didn't stay up and my lab retriever ate them like Buddy the Elf. We were worried she may have swallowed fishing line which could be bad, but she didn't. We're having my wife's family over on Christmas Eve. I'm sure they'll get a kick out of all the family pics in Santa hats.
