I would so jump on that at that price....if for nothing else than to just stare at those huge vu meters.

I'm just hoping it is someone on AK. Go! Go! Go! If I weren't about to hit the highway in the exact opposite direction for a seven hour drive I'd be on my way already.

I just sent off an email, but that listing is 10 days old, so I don't expect a response.

...an update;
The seller was quick to respond, unfortunately the Onkyo is gone. The Fisher stuff isn't enough for me to make the trip, but is still available if anyone cares.

Thanks, I also just emailed. Didn't know Onkyo is worth that type of dough.

Wish i had saw that 10 day's ago, i sure would have driven the 90 mile round trip for the Onkyo.

You don't think it's worth $75?

I looked it up, and its for sure worth that $75. But I wouldn't know the value of this newer 1985+ plus stuff... like if I saw a newer Sony or Onkyo or Sansui... I wouldn't assume any value. The older stuff I'm well versed on :music:

I like this:thmbsp: Because no one in my area knew what a 508 is I was also able to pick up a mint 508 for chump change from craigslist a couple of years ago. :banana: If you're serious about the audio game you've got to do your homework.

Thats funny - I'm pretty much the opposite. And I don't really consider stuff made in 85 newer but to each his own I guess.
