mach 1`s from phil cl

i picked those up last night for 10.00. the surrounds were gone , i was pretty much counting on that,i called the seller and asked the condition and she said she had no idea ,she had only used them for end tables. so i took the chance and drove an hour and fifteen minutes to pick them up.i got there and the one cabinet had water damage on the bottem but what the heck for ten bucks.i also picked up a technics sl p500 cdp for ten bucks,works great. i hooked up the mach 1`s this am and 1 tweeter is not working.can i find a replacement tweeter for these ?these are going to be shop speakers at work so is it worth the time and effort to refoam if i cant find a replacement tweeter ?

I have a set that are trashed, but with good tweeters. Mine are the "newer" ones with the 6 screw tweeters. PM me if you are interested.

The seller never got back to me, glad someone else got them though. I guess maybe the phone method is more desirable, but I absolutely hate talking on the phone if I don't have to. I guess not everyone is an email type like me.

I had to replace a mid in my Mach II set a couple years back & found the replacement on eBay. Set up a search & let it run. Eventually what you need will get posted.

Are those tweeters(on early machs) the same as the 40-1277's that RS sold as a raw driver?

i checked the tweeter and it`s ok ,the pot is bad or needs cleaning , i am getting ready to see if i can deoxit and see what happens . jhal replied to me and he has everything i need if i cant get it working , thanks jhal
