CL TF-400's

Our local CL has a pair of TF-400s for 125. Is this a decent price and what kind of condition issues can I expect? I've been jonesing for some DCM Timeframes or preferably TimeWindows so I'm interested since they are local.

With the prices of gas, the trip might be worth it!
I think both are very fairly priced...but you can sometimes get into bigger DCM's for around the same price.
The 400's are a great sounding speaker. I don't think be disappointed at all the sound.

Check the Baltimore area, there always seems to be good deals on them in that area. Was a pair of TF-1000 for 80 bucks, may still be there.

I picked up some 1000's a few years ago. I traded a fellow AKer for his a/d/s, and I think we both got a great deal! The bigger the model, the less you see them, and these 1000's don't pop up often at all. For less than a hundred bucks, I'd grab those in a second!

I'd say this is right at the money for the 400's, so you won't be able to make a profit on them. However, you wouldn't lose more than $25, if you decide they aren't for you. Personally, I'd keep an eye out for the 600's, as they do pop up from time to time in most big cities for $150-$200.
